INTRODUCTION
D.J. Jeffries is a highly interesting athlete with a well-sculpted physique. He is mobile and reactive, making him an important factor on the defensive end where his versatility allows him to hold his own against both very quick opponents and those with more weight. He can contribute to rebounding, but his numbers are currently limited by the presence of Tolu Smith at the Bulldogs. On the offensive end, he struggles to create his own shot and is more of a supporting player. He is inconsistent as a shooter, but with his feet set, he can be effective. D.J. Jeffries moves well off the ball and, when paired with less powerful wing players, he can post up to find openings near the basket. He is a decent facilitator, having flirted with an average of 2 assists per game over the last two years. Overall, he could be an intriguing player to slot into the classic 3-and-D role, and although it is a narrow margin, this could also fuel his dream of making it to the NBA. However, having an impact in Europe may be the more logical path.
