INTRODUCTION
Greg Johnson played for three years at the JuCo level before transferring to the Greyhounds. In his final season, he was a key player in the Lone Star victory, being included in the tournament’s first team as well as the Conference’s. Greg Johnson is a well-structured, versatile swingman who is solid on both sides of the court. In his last year, he showcased sharpshooting skills (50.8% on 4.8 three-point attempts per game) that complement his slashing abilities and knack for absorbing contact near the rim. He also made significant improvements in reading plays (2.6 assists), but has limitations as a handler. Defensively, he is solid and reactive (1.1 steals per game), but has occasional lapses in rotations and could improve discipline, as well as ensure a greater presence in rebounding due to his good athleticism. He has grown a lot in his final season, and while he doesn’t seem to have a very high upside, he is solid with good size, and if his three-point shooting is confirmed, he can become a good-level role player. Starting from lower leagues to gain confidence may be the most suitable scenario for his professional career.
