INTRODUCTION
Nic Lynch is a big man who isn’t particularly athletic, but possesses a shooting ability from beyond the arc that makes him a reliable stretch five. In his last college season, he converted at 46%, which, if maintained, could be the key to unlock professional opportunities. When not receiving on the perimeter, he can catch the ball under the basket or position himself in the post, where his size and soft touch around the rim allow him to be productive. While he reads the game well, he does not move effectively off the ball and struggles to cut toward the rim due to a lack of dynamism and explosiveness. Defensively, he is hindered by mobility and speed that are far from elite. As one approaches the painted area, his contribution becomes tangible due to his imposing physicality. However, Nic Lynch has athletic limitations but can become an interesting tactical weapon to use, perhaps coming off the bench, to adjust some dynamics.
