NBA Summer League: 10 Undrafted Prospects to Follow

Every July, the NBA Summer League becomes the first professional test for dozens of players leaving college basketball. While first-round picks naturally attract most of the attention, the most interesting stories often come from undrafted prospects fighting for an NBA contract, a two-way deal, or a place in the G-League.

This list focuses on ten undrafted NCAA players entering Summer League without a standard or two-way NBA contract. Some may eventually earn an opportunity in the NBA ecosystem, while others could become interesting names for clubs monitoring the international market during the months ahead.

David Green | 6’7 – 201 cm | Golden State | Stretch forward

Fit: Stretch-four who can provide floor spacing, maturity, and immediate two-way reliability.

Forward with consistent perimeter shooting (38% 3PT in his career) and solid physical profile, capable of contributing as a spacer and rebounder. Limited lateral quickness and ball-handling reduce his versatility.

Strengths:
• Perimeter shooting
• Physical presence and maturity
• Rebounding and team defense

Risk:
• Limited lateral quickness and creation

Amani Lyles | 6’9 – 206 cm | Philadelphia | Mobile big

Fit: Athletic 4/5 who brings rebounding, rim-running, and defensive activity in a two-way role.

Mobile big with strong inside efficiency (65.8% 2PT) and solid rebounding (7.9 RPG), capable of running the floor and impacting as a finisher and energy player. Adds some spacing (37.3% 3PT) but the offensive role is primarily built around rim pressure and activity rather than creation.

Strengths:
• Rebounding and energy
• Rim-running and finishing
• Defensive activity and versatility

Risk:
• Limited self-creation and shooting consistency

Donovan Atwell | 6’5 – 196 cm | Chicago | Shooting guard

Fit: Floor-spacing shooting guard who provides elite perimeter shooting and off-ball scoring within structured offensive systems.

Guard with high-volume three-point production (45.8% 3PT on 8.4 attempts) who thrives as a spot-up and movement shooter. Generates scoring without needing high usage, but offers limited playmaking and on-ball creation.

Strengths:
• Elite perimeter shooting
• High-volume off-ball scoring and spacing
• Efficient, low-turnover offensive profile

Risk:
• Limited playmaking and on-ball creation

Meechie Johnson | 6’2 – 188 cm | Miami | Combo guard

Fit: Combo guard who can bring shot creation, late-clock scoring, and SEC-tested offensive responsibility.

Scoring guard with proven creation against high-level competition and ability to handle pick-and-roll possessions. More scorer than floor general, with efficiency concerns from the field and three-point line (38% FG, 33% 3PT career).

Strengths:
• Shot creation
• Late-clock scoring responsibility
• Pick-and-roll handling

Risk:
• Shooting efficiency and decision-making consistency

Rashaun Agee | 6’8 – 203 cm | Cleveland | Physical forward

Fit: Physical frontcourt player who can provide interior scoring, rebounding, and toughness in contact-heavy environments.

Forward with strong inside presence and ability to absorb contact, finishing efficiently around the rim while adding value as a rebounder. Shows improving passing feel (2.4 APG), but defensive consistency, especially on the perimeter, remains a key question for higher-level translation.

Strengths:
• Interior scoring and physicality
• Rebounding presence
• Passing feel for his role

Risk:
• Perimeter defensive consistency

Dominique Daniels | 5’10 178 cm | New Orleans | Combo guard

Fit: Scoring combo guard for a team needing on-ball creation, pull-up scoring, rim pressure, and pace.

Undersized but powerful guard with clear multi-level scoring instincts, quickness, and high-usage creation value. Can generate advantages in pick-and-roll, get to the line, and score off pull-ups, but efficiency depends on cleaner shot selection and improved 3P consistency.

Strengths:
• Multi-level scoring
• Pull-up creation and slashing
• Quickness and body control

Risk:
• Three-point consistency, shot selection, and defensive versatility against size

Keith Palek | 6’9 – 206 cm | New York | Stretch big

Fit: Mobile stretch-forward who can add spacing, rebounding, and frontcourt depth without requiring high usage.

Forward with shooting range and off-ball activity, capable of contributing as a floor spacer and facilitator (3.6 assists per game). Brings functional offensive value, but limited explosiveness and physical profile reduce his defensive ceiling and overall impact.

Strengths:
• Shooting range
• Off-ball movement
• Passing / facilitation

Risk:
• Physical durability and defensive translation

Themus Fulks | 6’2 – 188 cm | LA Clippers | Lead guard

Fit: Quick point guard who can organize offense and create advantages through playmaking and pace.

Floor general with strong assist production (6.7 APG) and ability to operate in pick-and-roll. Relies on quickness and penetration, but shooting limitations (31.2% 3PT in career) and turnovers (3.4 per game) affect efficiency.

Strengths:
• Playmaking and vision
• Quickness and penetration
• Pick-and-roll creation

Risk:
• Limited shooting and turnover management

Aaron Nkrumah | 6’6 – 198 cm | Denver | Energy forward

Fit: Energy forward who can provide defensive activity, athleticism, and transition impact.

Athletic forward with strong defensive presence (3 SPG) and ability to generate plays through intensity and length. Effective in transition and as a rim attacker, with flashes of passing (3 APG), but shooting (27% 3PT) and decision-making remain inconsistent.

Strengths:
• Defensive activity
• Athleticism and transition impact
• Secondary playmaking flashes

Risk:
• Shooting consistency and offensive decision-making

Aidan Mahaney | 6’3 191 cm | Minnesota | Combo guard

Fit: Combo guard for a team needing secondary playmaking, reliable shooting, and disciplined backcourt decision-making.

Skilled guard with good reads, stable assist-to-turnover profile, and reliable shooting both off the dribble and in spot-up situations. Can fit next to a higher-usage scorer, but is not an elite rim-pressure guard or high-end athlete.

Strengths:
• Playmaking and decision-making
• Reliable three-point shooting
• Basketball IQ and system fit

Risk:
• Limited rim pressure, athletic ceiling, and top-end scoring impact
