Weekly Scouting Update – 32

As clubs continue preparing for the upcoming market, each Weekly Scouting Update now features a shortlist built to reflect our scouting work in a more direct and practical way. Each edition offers a focused sample of the type of player selection that can later be tailored to specific team needs.

Shortlist of the Week

With the Kosovo season now completed, the focus shifts to a league that continues to offer useful market visibility and clear next-step pathways toward more competitive environments. This week’s shortlist highlights four names whose profiles deserve broader attention ahead of the summer.

Cesare Edwards | 6’10 – 208 cm | KB Peja | Stretch big

Fit: Stretch big for a team needing frontcourt spacing, interior finishing, rebounding, and rim protection.

Versatile frontcourt player with inside scoring, shooting range, and useful value as a help-side rim protector. Can finish around the basket and space the floor, but decision-making and lateral mobility limit his impact in faster, switch-heavy contexts.

Strengths:
• Shooting range for size
• Interior finishing and rebounding
• Rim protection timing

Risk:
• Lateral quickness, athletic margin, and possession management

Mustapha Amzil | 6’9 – 206 cm | KB Trepca | Stretch forward

Fit: Finnish stretch-forward for a team needing frontcourt spacing, reliability, and mobility in smaller lineups.

Perimeter-oriented forward with shooting range, durability, and enough mobility to fit different frontcourt combinations. Can space the floor and hold his own defensively, but lacks strength, ball-handling, and post creation to become a more complete inside-out option.

Strengths:
• Shooting range
• Rebounding
• Frontcourt mobility

Risk:
• Limited strength, ball-handling, and post game

Alex Hunter | 5’11 – 180 cm | KB Bora | Lead guard

Fit: Floor-managing lead guard for a team needing shooting, tempo control, and low-mistake organization.

American lead guard with proven assist-to-turnover stability and reliable high-volume shooting from 3P range. Plays with good shot selection and few forced possessions, but physical limitations reduce his defensive margin in bigger matchups.

Strengths:
• Assist-to-turnover control
• 3P shooting
• Shot selection and floor management

Risk:
• Limited size and mismatch defense

Kentrell Pullian | 6’0 – 183 cm | KB Rahoveci | Combo guard

Fit: Energy combo guard for a team needing rim pressure, off-ball movement, defensive intensity, and bench scoring.

Explosive guard with good speed, closeout attacking, and slashing value (47% from 2P range) despite limited size. Can impact the game with energy on both ends and pressure passing lanes, but needs more consistency as a shooter and secondary creator.

Strengths:
• Rim pressure and athleticism
• Off-ball movement
• Defensive energy and steals

Risk:
• 3P consistency, playmaking feel, and size limitations
