INTRODUCTION
Marquavian Stephens is a combo guard with established European experience. After completing his college career at Saskatchewan, he made a solid impact in Portugal, Luxembourg, and most recently in Ireland. An athletic player with strong slashing ability, he is effective when attacking the basket and finishes well around the rim (55.9% from two-point range). Comfortable playing off the ball, he can also handle creation duties thanks to his court vision and passing instincts (5.9 assists per game in Ireland). His three-point shooting remains somewhat streaky, but he has shown leadership qualities and the ability to step up in key moments. Defensively, his athleticism and physical presence make him a reliable perimeter defender. Active hands (2 steals per game) and a good rebounding effort for his position (4.3 per game) allow him to contribute to quick transition opportunities.
With his blend of experience, versatility, and competitive mindset, Marquavian Stephens is ready to take the next step after the Irish Super League. He is a strong option for a team looking for scoring punch and backcourt leadership.
