INTRODUCTION

Tre Jackson is a skilled combo guard who began his college career at Iowa State, where he spent three seasons as a reliable rotation player off the bench in a high-major context. He later transferred to Western Carolina, stepping into a lead role in the backcourt alongside Vonterius Woolbright. As the team’s second scorer and secondary assistman, Jackson proved to be a high-volume sharpshooter, hitting 37% from three on 8.2 attempts per game, showing confidence and consistency from beyond the arc. While he struggles to finish in traffic and rarely gets to the rim, his shooting gravity makes him a constant offensive threat. With decent size for a combo guard, he still has room to grow in terms of playmaking and decision-making (career assist/turnover ratio of +1.4), and could potentially handle more offensive responsibility. On defense, he’s solid in applying pressure on the perimeter, though he may be exposed in mismatches or when defending stronger, more physical guards. Overall, Jackson is a valuable shooting guard prospect for teams at the mid-tier European level looking for spacing, shooting confidence, and backcourt depth.
