INTRODUCTION
Brandon Rush started his NCAA career with Farleigh Dickinson, where he played for three seasons and was the top scorer in his final year. After transferring to the Penguins, he found teammates with more offensive responsibilities but consistently averaged over ten points. He was named to the Third Team of the Horizon League. He is a guard with a very deep shooting range but has shown inconsistency (with the Penguins, he went from 37.9% on 6 attempts to 32.2% on 7.2) combined with good athleticism that allows him to drive to the basket. There is significant room for growth in his handling and game reading (assist/turnover ratio +0.60 in the last season) to become a more versatile player. His good reactivity makes him a potential solid defender, though he occasionally lacks concentration. He is active in passing lanes and ready to contribute on the boards (averaging 4.1). If he finds shooting consistency and greater versatility, he could become a mid-level player in European basketball. He will start his professional career in Slovakia.
