INTRODUCTION:

Two years in a JuCo and then two seasons in Louisville before moving to the Lopes who, led by the class of Tyon Grant-Foster, are trying to confirm as champions in the WAC. He has a strong physical presence that allows him to excel in the paint, with his strength and good footwork for his size. If he receives in deep situations under the basket he is difficult to limit, he is a valid finisher (70.8% in 17 games played). From the post up he can also attack with a rather reliable left-handed hook, in pick and roll situations he guarantees solid screens but does not have the speed to move towards the basket while in short-rolls as a passer he has shown interesting skills as a facilitator. In front of the basket he doesn’t have a shot from mid-range and even in free throws he confirms a less than soft hand (last year his career high with 52.7%). He doesn’t have great stamina and needs short stints to ensure an impact in the defensive phase where he is a good rebounder despite not having great elevation (4.3 average in 17′ in Louisville) and a decent rim protector. Limited lateral mobility and great difficulty limiting an opponent if caught in spaces or on the perimeter
