INTRODUCTION
Kamdyn Curfman has shared the court with notable teammates like Jake Stephens at VMI and the Taevion Kinsey – Andrew Taylor duo at Marshall, but in his final year, he will be the main player for the Thundering Herd. He is a fairly tidy handler, capable of putting his teammates in rhythm during offensive sets and pick-and-rolls (with an assist/turnover ratio of +1.8 in his collegiate career). Additionally, he can take on the role of a scorer when necessary, exhibiting a significant impact from beyond the arc (40.4% on 8 attempts per game), whether taking shots off the dribble or as a spot-up shooter. Due to size and athleticism limitations, he doesn’t often attack the rim, but he possesses the leadership to be the go-to guy in decisive moments of the game. However, defensively, he struggles against more physical or athletic opponents and needs to be placed in a context with players capable of protecting him. Overall, he is a prospect of great interest for a mid-low level European league.
