INTRODUCTION

K.J. Buffen after the first three years at Ole Miss he moved to UAB where together with Trey Jemison and Ty Brewer he guaranteed defense and solidity to the group led by Jordan Walker who is the runner-up for the C-USA title vs Florida Atlantic (then reached the Final Four NCAA) and in the NIT against North Texas. Versatile player with a good combination of physicality and athleticism that allows him to occupy multiple positions on the court, good movement without the ball and a decent shooter from beyond the arc as a spot up (34.4% in his last season) is capable of beating his own opponent off the dribble to create a shot or find his teammate (1.5 assists per match). Mobility and positional sense make him a valid offensive rebounder (2.7 per game) while in the defensive phase he can defend multiple roles, has quite quick feet and timing for blocks (0.7) or advances against slower opponents (1.1 steals per match). He begins his European career in Finland where he could also ensure a good impact in terms of scoring
