INTRODUCTION
E.J. Day won many individual awards as the top scorer in the entire NCAA Division III during the 2022/23 season, averaging 25.8 points per game, which earned him a nomination to the All-American third team and the title of MVP for the GNAC. Despite his small size, he possesses great speed, allowing him to take shots off the dribble in any situation. He exploits his quick first step to attack the rim effortlessly, and despite lacking physicality, his excellent coordination enables him to create highlights with spectacular baskets. His shooting from beyond the arc is reliable (37.9% on 6.7 attempts per game), and even though he struggles with managing possessions (4.5 turnovers per game), he effectively assists his teammates in pick-and-roll situations or on cuts (6.1 assists). Overall, he is a central player in the offensive phase, while defensively, his best weapon is his timing on passing lanes (2.6 steals), as he is unable to use his body to challenge opponents who are generally stronger.
