INTRODUCTION
Jalon Andrews is a versatile forward capable of occupying multiple positions on the court, with a good shooting percentage from beyond the three-point arc (39.1% on 3.5 attempts in the NCAA) complementing his ability to move off the ball and attack from the post, especially on the side of his strong hand. He needs to improve his handling because if his ability to drive after a rebound is crucial, he can commit some turnovers. A good athlete with a well-sculpted physique, but he could increase his strength. He is mobile and runs the court well when used for several minutes as an inside player. On the defensive end, he is a decent rim protector (0.8 blocks per game in the NCAA) and rebounder, but is able to make some switches on the perimeter given his good lateral mobility. He may have some difficulty in static situations defending in the post, where he doesn’t have the strength to limit big men.
Jalon Andrews started his NCAA career playing for Cal. St. Fullerton before finishing his last two years at Kentucky State in Division-II, where he was a key player in the starting five. In Europe, he gained solid experience playing in Kosovo, Azerbaijan, and Albania.
