Born: 18/09/1999201 cm
Last team: Belmont Bruins (NCAA)98 kg

INTRODUCTION: Former at Princeton where he finished four years of study, he transferred to the Bruins for the super-senior season where he became an untouchable of the starting-five (32 on 32) and the most used player together with the NBA first pick Ben Sheppard. He posted career highs in minutes, points and rebounds and that performance earned him honorable mention as MVC Newcomer

PHYSICAL: He’s not massive in size but is physical enough to absorb contact, isn’t very athletic, and has limited elevation. The ability to read situations in advance allows him to hide some shortcomings in terms of lateral mobility and reactivity. Overall he doesn’t have important athletic skills but he compensates with an important basketball IQ

OFFENSIVE PHASE: It’s a modern stretch four that opens the court a lot with a shot from beyond the 3P arc of the highest quality: 44.4% on 6.6 attempts per match, what can be defined as a sharpshooter. Able to beat the opponent on close-out and shot from mid-range, he doesn’t have the explosiveness necessary to get to the rim. In mismatch situations, he can go low-post against less physical opponents and has good timing in cuts and movement off the ball. Good skills as a facilitator (1.3 assists) which in the Princeton years were further highlighted by an assist/turnover ratio of +2.7 confirming a valid ability to manage possessions. For a player with his soft hand, the data from free throws is curious (58.8% in his last season) while the presence of rebounds and substance near the basket is not surprising given his perimeter play

DEFENSIVE PHASE: He has a good sense of position and opposes his body well when approaching the basket despite not having a big size, he can struggle against more athletic and faster opponents than him. In terms of rebounding, he guarantees a minimum contribution (4.2 per match and it was the most productive season) and also in terms of steals and blocks the stats are limited. Able to take a few offensive fouls while always having good control of his foul handling

IMPROVED AREAS: He can work on his body even if it is difficult to expect great improvements which instead can come to the free throw and guaranteeing a better presence in the defensive phase, perhaps even committing a few more fouls. He has great shooting skills from beyond the three-point arc and good facilitation skills, skills that make him a modern player and with good prospects for a mid-level European career
