INTRODUCTION
Lovell Cabbil, after finishing his NCAA career with the satisfaction of having led Liberty to the Tournament twice, saw the doors of American basketball close, even in the G-League. Unwilling to give up, he challenged himself in Georgia, putting up impressive numbers with one of the league’s top teams. A shooter who is never shy (averaging almost 6 attempts per game), he has proven adept at effectively assisting his teammates. While not always aesthetically pleasing, he is quite effective; his playmaking instincts are not primary, but he can be impactful in pick-and-roll situations. Defensively, he possesses the mobility and athleticism to be a valid presence, and his quickness on long rebounds is surprising. Overall, he may not be top-tier material, but he has the ability to forge a respectable career in Europe; in this regard, the call to the German second division could be an important showcase.
