INTRODUCTION

Kobe Webster, after his first three years at Western Illinois, where he was essentially the team leader since his freshman year, chose to transfer to Nebraska. He entered a higher level with a redesigned role as the leader of the second unit, confirming a good three-point shooting ability – especially in catch and shoot situations – and interesting playmaking instincts, limiting his forays into traffic to the bare minimum. He is adept at moving off the ball but is not physical enough to act off the ball more than necessary. On defense, he has quick hands and legs to keep up with players in his position, but the resistance he can offer against mismatches is minimal. He begins his adventure from the Netherlands with a European showcase, which may be the right stepping stone for a satisfying career, but it is difficult to imagine him reaching the highest continental levels in the future.
