As clubs continue preparing for the upcoming market, each Weekly Scouting Update now features a shortlist built to reflect our scouting work in a more direct and practical way. It offers a focused sample of the type of player selection that can later be tailored to specific team needs.
Shortlist of the Week
With the Swedish season now completed, the focus shifts from league performance to summer-market value. This week’s shortlist focuses on four names from Sweden whose profiles look ready to draw interest beyond their current level.
K.J. Jenkins | 6’2 – 188 cm | Boras | Combo guard
Fit: Scoring guard for a team needing high-volume shooting, off-ball spacing, and secondary creation.
Perimeter-oriented scorer with proven volume from 3P (40.7% on 7.7 attempts) and a clear role as a second-unit offensive option. Can play off screens, attack some pick-and-roll situations, and add passing at pace, but efficiency and shot selection remain inconsistent.
Strengths:
• High-volume 3P shooting
• Off-ball movement
• Bench scoring impact
Risk:
• Streaky efficiency, questionable shot selection, and limited defensive size
A.J. Clayton | 6’8 – 203 cm | Boras | Stretch forward
Fit: Stretch forward for a team needing spot-up shooting, off-ball movement, transition running, and secondary rim protection.
Perimeter-oriented forward with strong spot-up shooting volume and efficiency (39.9% on 6.2 attempts). Moves well without the ball, runs the floor, and adds weak-side rim protection, but currently translates more as a 4 than a full-time wing.
Strengths:
• Spot-up 3P shooting
• Off-ball movement and transition running
• Weak-side rim protection
Risk:
• Limited shot creation and left hand use
Keaston Willis | 6’3 – 191 cm | Jamtland | Shooting guard
Fit: Off-ball shooting guard for a team needing shooting volume, spacing, and reliable second-side scoring.
Perimeter scorer who maintained in Europe the same shooting-based trajectory already shown in college, with consistent 3P volume (37.5% on 6.7 attempts) and a defined floor-spacing role. Moves well without the ball, can attack closeouts, and showed some secondary handling flashes, but his offensive game remains mostly shooting-based.
Strengths:
• 3P volume and consistency
• Off-ball movement
• Solid size for the role
Risk:
• Limited playmaking and creation
Brayden Parker | 6’8 – 203 cm | Jamtland | Stretch big
Fit: Stretch big for a team needing screening, pick-and-pop shooting, roll finishing, and frontcourt mobility.
Mobile frontcourt player with strong efficiency as a roller and reliable shooting value as a pop threat (46.6% on 4.4 attempts). Has good positioning, functional strength, and some development as a facilitator, but size and vertical limitations affect his defensive margin.
Strengths:
• Pick-and-pop shooting
• Roll finishing and screening
• Positioning and mobility
Risk:
• Limited size, lateral movement, and foul discipline
