Beyond the Boxscore

TyIan Pope set the tone with one of the most efficient performances of the week, combining interior finishing with perimeter accuracy to stretch the floor and control the game flow. His ability to operate both as a finisher and a spacing threat created constant matchup issues, standing out within a group of forwards who produced heavily around the rim.

That same inside presence was reflected in the double-double production of Brandon Huntley-Hatfield and Earl Timberlake, both impacting through physicality, rebounding, and playmaking from the frontcourt. While their scoring came primarily in the paint, the ability to generate extra possessions and facilitate added a different layer of value, reinforcing a trend of forwards contributing beyond traditional roles.

On the perimeter, Duke Deen efficiently orchestrated in a top-of-the-table clash in Denmark, while Ronald Polite maintained production against elite competition, handling both scoring and creation responsibilities. Erik Timko complemented the group with a scoring-focused performance, rounding out a week where role clarity and contextual impact outweighed raw volume.

HONORABLE MENTION: Rasheed Bello led Antwerp to the Lotto Basketball Cup title, delivering a solid final with 14 points and 8 assists while finishing as the most productive player by index.

Scouting Radar

With the Swedish league entering the playoffs this weekend, the focus shifts to profiles that have already translated within structured roles. This week’s radar highlights four perimeter scorers whose shooting has proven to carry over early in the European context.

Keaston Willis | Jamtland | 6’3 – 191 cm

Key piece in Jamtland’s regular season title run, providing consistent scoring alongside Michael Christmas. Averaged 18.7 PPG (5th overall) with 37.2% from 3-P on 6.7 attempts. Solid size for the role, with flashes of improvement as a secondary ball-handler.
