INTRODUCTION
Lavar Miller began his college career at Central State (OH) with a brief stint at Southern Nazarene before returning to Central State, where he closed out two seasons as the offensive leader of the Thorobreds. His strong senior year earned him a spot on the 2025 SIAC First Team.
Lavar Miller combines a slender frame with solid athleticism. Adding muscle mass would help him absorb contact more effectively and improve coordination in traffic, but his current profile already allows him to play as a dynamic perimeter scorer. He is best known as a sharpshooter: ranked third in NCAA Division II for made three-pointers this past season, hitting 38.8% on an impressive 11.2 attempts per game. He can create his own shot off the dribble and attack closeouts, though he tends to struggle in crowded situations, and his overall shot selection remains an area for improvement, he has never shot above 40% from the field in his NCAA career.
