INTRODUCTION
Kevin Stein is a strong and well-built combo guard. He began his career at Orange County CC, earning All-Conference and All-Region honors in both seasons. He also helped his team reach the Final Four. After that, he moved to McKendree Bearcats, where he played a key role. In his final year, he led the team in scoring, assists, and minutes. He was also named to the GLVC Second Team.
Offensively, Stein is an effective and balanced player. He can attack the rim and absorb contact, thanks to his strong body and solid footwork. While he does not have elite explosiveness, his control and timing help him finish well at the basket. He shot 54% from two-point range on 6 attempts per game. From beyond the arc, he is reliable in both catch-and-shoot and spot-up situations. He also creates space off the dribble, making him a complete perimeter threat.
