INTRODUCTION
Dan Braster completed a long and varied collegiate career, finishing with Alcorn State after previous stops at Hutchinson CC, Lamar State, North Alabama (ASUN), and Palm Beach Atlantic. He found meaningful minutes off the bench at North Alabama, posted solid numbers at the D2 level with PBA, and returned to Division-I to provide energy and depth off the bench alongside Keionte Cornelius at Alcorn State.
He profiles as a versatile stretch-four with the ability to attack off the dribble and a soft touch around the rim and in the mid-range area. His perimeter shot is still a work in progress: he shot 22.2% from three on limited volume (0.8 attempts per game at Alcorn State, 21.1% on 1.4 attempts at PBA), but he has a clean shooting form, suggesting room for development as a floor-spacer.
Dan Braster shows good feel for the game and positional awareness, which helps offset average athleticism and a frame that could benefit from added strength to better absorb contact around the basket. He made a strong impression at the EuroBasket Summer League, finishing #2 in the final player rankings.
Overall, Braster is a stretch-four with notable upside and the tools to contribute immediately in an entry-level European league, particularly with his offensive versatility and feel for the game.
