INTRODUCTION

Tyree Mitchell is a forward with a solid frame and a well-rounded college background. A three-time Conference champion (2020, 2022, 2024), he surpassed 1,000 career points and earned GNAC Player of the Year honors in 2024. That season, he was also selected to the All-Conference First Team and named a D3 All-American. In his first professional experience overseas, he contributed to a title-winning campaign in Norway’s top division, posting strong individual numbers: 38.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.

Tyree Mitchell is a versatile scorer who uses his physical strength effectively when attacking the basket and shows touch from mid-range. He is a consistent three-point shooter, with a 47.8% success rate on 3.8 attempts as a senior, and 41% on 7.4 attempts in Norway. His shot selection is generally sound, as reflected by his 54% field goal percentage over his NCAA career. While he has shown some passing ability, he tends to force certain plays off the dribble, which results in turnovers that could be reduced with better decision-making. Athletically, he is dynamic and provides solid rebounding support.

Overall, Mitchell is a physically and offensively reliable player who could be evaluated as a potential contributor at a higher level.
