INTRODUCTION

Supreme Cook began his collegiate basketball career at Fairfield University. During three seasons, he had a solid impact, already as a freshman he entered the starting-five and in his junior season, he was named to the Third-Team MAAC. He transferred to Georgetown, where he continued to be a consistent contributor with 8 double-doubles in a disappointing season for the team. For his graduate senior year, Cook joined the Ducks, adding depth and experience to their frontcourt coming off the bench.

PHYSICAL

Supreme Cook possesses a solid frame, providing a strong presence in the paint. His size and strength allow him to compete effectively on both ends of the floor, particularly in the paint. While not the most explosive athlete, his dynamism is decent, and his physicality enables him to hold his ground against opposing big-men. Improving his lateral quickness and footwork would help him achieve better coordination and body control. Overall, he is a fair compromise between mobility and size for his role, lacking elite tools but solid in every aspect.

OFFENSIVE PHASE

Supreme Cook has a very limited shooting range but possesses great efficiency around the basket. During his collegiate career, he shot over 54% from the field, indicating a reliable finishing ability. At Georgetown, he showcased consistent scoring in the paint (57.5% on 6.8 attempts) especially thanks to his excellent rebounding ability (3.8 per game, leader of the Big East). However, his offensive game is primarily limited to the low post, where he has footwork that needs improvement but can take advantage of a combination of mobility and physicality, along with some cuts. He lacks the explosiveness to be a lob threat in pick-and-roll situations and has not demonstrated significant shooting range or ball-handling skills to create his own shot. Developing a mid-range jumper or expanding his shooting range could make him a more versatile offensive threat. His propensity for rebounding often leads him to free throws that he needs to make more reliable (57.1% on 4.6 attempts last year).

DEFENSIVE PHASE

Supreme Cook utilizes his size and strength to be an effective defender in static situations. He has a good understanding of positioning, which helps his teammates and secures defensive rebounds. His limited verticality does not make him a credible rim protector (0.5 blocks per game). However, his average lateral quickness can be a liability when defending more agile opponents or in pick-and-roll situations. Enhancing his foot speed and defensive awareness would improve his ability to guard multiple positions and limit potential foul troubles.

IMPROVED AREAS

Supreme Cook is a player with definite upside; the potential on offer is intriguing. He needs to improve his shooting range and also his free throw percentages, which limit him as an offensive threat, but his rebounding presence and finishing ability make him a solid fit. Defensively, a bit more lateral mobility and awareness would make him more versatile. Overall, he is a prospect that can have a solid impact in a mid-level European league with good growth prospects in a couple of years.
