INTRODUCTION
J.D. Weatherspoon trained at Ohio State and Toledo before embarking on a successful professional career. He played in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, collecting numerous accolades throughout his career. He is a combo forward with a combination of physicality and athleticism that allows him to be very effective in the paint despite his size. Weatherspoon can go above the rim or create space and absorb contact without fear; additionally, he has a reliable mid-range jumper. His three-point shooting is not very consistent, but his versatility on the perimeter is still guaranteed by good passing skills. A player who can provide a team with dynamism, hard work, and proven international experience will be a valuable asset.
