INTRODUCTION

Tahlik Chavez began his collegiate career at the JUCO level before moving on to stints at Iona and Charleston Southern, eventually transferring to Louisiana Tech. Alongside Isaiah Crawford, he had his most productive season statistically, earning Third Team All-Conference USA honors while contributing to a strong campaign for the Bulldogs. Chavez is a dynamic guard with excellent movement off the ball and a consistent outside shot. He stands out as a reliable sharpshooter, hitting 40.4% from 3-P on 6.4 attempts per game, particularly effective in catch-and-shoot situations but also capable of creating his own shot off the dribble. Despite his skillset, his slender frame limits his ability to consistently finish at the rim or absorb contact; adding strength would enhance his impact on both ends of the floor.

While his scoring ability is clear, Tahlik Chavez still has room to grow in decision-making and playmaking, key areas for his transition to the professional level. His current profile leans more toward a scoring specialist than a full-time creator.

Overall, Chavez offers elite perimeter gravity and could be an immediate contributor in a mid-to-lower tier pro league, with the potential to evolve into a high-level bench shooter or specialist in more competitive contexts.
