INTRODUCTION
JaMarcus Jones began his career at the JuCo level before transferring to Southern and then to Jackson State in the NCAA. In his first year as a professional, he was named to the best team in the Albanian Superliga and was the second leading rebounder in the league, finishing with an average double-double.
JaMarcus Jones is a great athlete, and his exciting dunks confirm this. A solid finisher (69.7% from 2-pointers in Albania), he is mobile, dynamic, and shows great energy near the rims. Consistent presence in rebounding (13.1 per game, including 4.6 on the offensive end). He needs to work on becoming a more versatile player and improving ball handling and passing skills. Excelling as a roller to the rim, his three-point shooting (31.3% on 1.1 attempts per game) could provide him a space floor but at the moment isn’t reliable. His athletic tools, a good wingspan, and the energy he brings to the court make him a valuable presence on the defensive end, where he can limit various types of opponents. After a season as an absolute star in Albania, he could be an interesting addition for many mid-level European teams.
