INTRODUCTION
Matt Bradley, after three seasons in California, has transferred to San Diego State, with which he became NCAA champion in 2023, receiving numerous accolades, including MVP of the Mountain West Tournament.
He is a powerful swingman capable of finding the basket in various ways, has a good propensity to move without the ball, and is lethal on catch and shoot (40% career from beyond the arc), but with his physicality, he doesn’t shy away from approaching the rim, where he can absorb contact with big men quite effectively. He can become a valuable secondary handler, but at the moment he loses too many possessions—certainly one of the flaws he needs to refine in this last collegiate season—and has shown a tendency to go off the rails during clutch moments of games. On defense, he can create significant difficulties for his counterparts, being dangerous with his quick hands that guarantee him a steal per game; with his build, he can hold his ground for precious seconds even in mismatch situations. Finally, he provides an unusual rebounding presence for a player of his position. His trajectory will be interesting to follow; after his college adventure, he could be one of the most ready and have an immediate impact in the Old Continent.
