UPDATE JUNE 2023

INTRODUCTION: Former at Delaware (Div. 1) in 2018 was named freshman of the year in their conference, he scored 15.3 points per game. In 2020/21 he was named to the All-Conference third team and in the 2021/22 won the Colonial conference (CAA) and played in the NCAA Tournament his last match with Fightin blue hens.

PHYSICAL: Excellent physicality for a point guard, he is well muscled and he has no problems absorbing physical contacts and attacks the basket. He’s not very fast and doesn’t do any excellent footwork and for this reason in 1vs1 situations he prefers to create space with his body instead of beating the direct opponent on the first step.

OFFENSIVE PHASE: Effective in approaching the basket, he can attack his direct opponent even from the low post with his fade away. Valid scorer from off the dribble. Despite having the record for triples made in his college, the percentages don’t reward him even if he shoots often (30% with 6.6 attempts per match). He can open the offensive set with decent reads in pick and rolls situations, he had a decent number in assists last season (3.8 per match) and he likes to play as primary handler. He had a decent ratio assist/turnover with +1.4

DEFENSIVE PHASE: Good pressing on his direct rival thanks to his physicality can provide steals or turnovers, he doesn’t have too fast footwork and can suffer against faster opponents and have problems with fouls. In a defense that loves to switch, he can comfortably hold from 1-3. Sometimes can have a lack of attention and he must improve his defensive discipline for all 40’.

IMPROVED AREAS: He needs to improve his three-point shooting percentage to be more productive, with a 34-36% he can find more spaces for his penetration too. The selection shooting has to increase like his defensive discipline, in general he hasn’t big natural talents but can be a solid player with good numbers as scorer and decent playmaking skills. He is not a player like other former from Georgia Superleague like Pierria Henry or Lovell Cabbill but the combo of physicality and decent talent are intriguing.
