Alterique Gilbert is a failed quarterback turned hero of a small Estonian community that became national champion for the first time thanks to his exploits. This is a summary of the story of a compact but always proactive external player on the court. A blur in penetration, although not imposing, his solid physique allows him to absorb contact – after all, he played football – and he has good court vision. His outside shot from the dribble is inconsistent, but the absolute constant is his hand speed, which makes him a dangerous opponent both one-on-one and in help defense.
