David DiLeo’s origins as a former player for Murcia and Paok are easily recognizable and could make him even more interesting for the Italian market in a “Petrucelli operation” a few years ahead of time. A high-quality shooter: excels in spot-up situations, but he also performs well coming off screens, beating a close-out or creating space for himself; he rarely attacks the rim and does so without too much conviction. He makes his presence felt on the boards thanks to a good sense of positioning and has quick enough feet to avoid excessive difficulty when matched up against more athletic opponents, being able to fill both forward spots without much trouble.
