INTRODUCTION
Chris Clarke is a strong and physical forward who delivered solid numbers in his first European season in the Finnish Korisliiga. After a college career marked by ups and downs between Virginia Tech and Texas Tech, he has confirmed in Europe the traits he once flashed in the NCAA: vertical athleticism, an aggressive mindset when attacking the rim, and an underrated playmaking instinct (averaging 5 assists per game). His nose for rebounds, particularly on the defensive end, remains a constant, as does his defensive awareness and effort. Offensively, his perimeter shooting is still a weak spot (28% on nearly 3 attempts per game), and character concerns that once led to a college suspension have so far limited his exposure to northern leagues. That said, based on talent and impact, Chris Clarke is a player who clearly deserves a shot at a higher level.
