INTRODUCTION

Brycen Goodine is a shooting guard/wing from Fairfield. His college career began at Syracuse, where he had limited playing time (8.7 minutes per game). He then transferred to Providence for his sophomore and junior years, but again struggled to find minutes (8.6 and 5.8 minutes per game). He decided to transfer to Fairfield. In his first senior-redshirt season, he played only 4 games due to a season-ending ankle injury. He finally broke out in his last season at Fairfield, where he was named MAAC Sixth Player of the Year. He entered the transfer portal and chose to play his final college season at Oklahoma.

Goodine is primarily a shooter (an unreal 46.7% from three on 5.3 attempts per game) with a smooth and quick shooting form. From three, he can score catch and shoot, off the dribble, or using a pick-and-roll. When he receives the ball, he is always in a shooting position (making him dangerous given his percentages), forcing opposing defenses to adjust—which can potentially create an advantage. He has good ball-handling skills but can get out of control if he forces a dribble penetration. Coming off the bench, he can efficiently produce points in a short amount of time and with limited touches (13.9 points in 25.9 minutes). Over the years, he has also improved physically, becoming a good defender, even full-court. Overall, he is a well-rounded player who combines both offensive and defensive skills.
