INTRODUCTION

Latrell Reid is a point guard leaving Saint Peter’s, where he spent his last college season. After a year in the NJCAA (Coffeyville Community College), he transferred to Division I at Saint Peter’s. Reid is definitely a leader on the court, who, despite some lapses during the season, led Saint Peter’s to March Madness. Moving on to his characteristics, Reid has an average physique, but despite that, he shows good elevation. He knows how to create an advantage off the dribble with a drive or a mid-range shot. He also makes good passes when driving to the basket (4.5 assists per game with a peak of 17 assists against Manhattan). Over the years, he has also shown improvement in his three-point shooting (from 0% to 17.6%, up to 34% in the last season), although he doesn’t use it much (only 1.4 attempts per game). He likes to create an advantage with his back to the basket in the post, mainly starting from the left corner to have a wide view of the court. However, his field goal percentage is low (36.8% on 10.4 attempts per game). He can struggle under defensive pressure, especially full-court press, leading to some turnovers (2.7 per game). He is an average defender but knows how to contribute on the boards (4.4 rebounds per game).
