INTRODUCTION

D.J.Horne is a classic combo guard with strong sharpshooter skills, an excellent scorer and offensive player. In his final season at NC State he averaged nearly 17 points per game with an excellent 40% from beyond the three-point arc. He knows how to attack the rim in many different ways and is also a good free throw shooter with a shooting percentage above 80%. He has great resistance and competitive drive which often leads him to create improvised game situations. However, this characteristic of him sometimes sends the team into confusion and they find themselves taken aback. Despite his physique not being a point guard, he finished the season 23/24 with 3.5 rebounds and just 2 assists with 1.3 turnovers. Being only 1.85 m tall he suffers from the more robust and tall players, but with his shot he manages to contain his physical limit. He had a good PIT averaging 14 points on 40% shooting. D.J.Horne was selected to the ACC All-Third Team at the end of the 23/24 season.
