INTRODUCTION

Tanner Holden is a fairly complete small forward with good potential to improve in some areas of the game. He was Wright State’s offensive leader for several seasons with one season played at Ohio State before returning to base. Tanner Holden still lacks something to be a factor at a higher level of play but the base he can work on is quite good. Even though he is not a giant, he is very present on the rebound and follows the action well. He is an excellent athlete who prefers playing inside the area and optimizes it by obtaining a large amount of free throws which he achieves with a good 70%. However, what doesn’t seem to convince him is the 3-point shot, the percentages are good but he must try to play wider and use this skill more. Although he is not a pure playmaker, he also does quite well as a setter even if sometimes he loses a few too many balls. All in all, Tanner Holden is that player who, if pushed and motivated, can really be a factor, especially in non-top tier championships.
