INTRODUCTION
Malevy Leons is a fairly complete forward born in Netherlands, his game has improved a lot in recent years. He showed a good defensive presence especially in the paint where he is a good rebounder and an excellent area intimidator averaging 7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. Thanks to his long arms he is also able to often anticipate his opponent and this characteristic has allowed him to average 1.5 steals. His slender physique gives him an advantage against more static players but if used as a pure center the opposing player struggles physically. This is a key point for the continuation of his career. If he wants to play from 4 or 3, he must also improve and make his choice of 3-point shooting more fluid (34% on 3.6 attempts) so as to be a real threat even from outside the area. In his career he also played two years in junior college and only 3 years as a Division I player in the Missouri Valley Conference, certainly not a very high level but which has trained several players now in the NBA. He has good foul management despite playing over 35 minutes on average.
