INTRODUCTION

Selton Miguel is a short but compact player. His main quality is that of being a pure scorer (14.6), with strong skills beyond the three-point range. In his last season at South Florida he averaged over 40% from 3-pointers with an average of over 5 attempts per game, which makes him one of the best pure shooters in the entire Division I. He also manages to finish in a positive way off the dribble. when called into question by Coach and teammates. Equipped with good athleticism, he can also attack the rim with consistency and efficiency, often finding fouls from defenders. As mentioned, he is not a point guard but still has a good all-round vision of the game both in attack and defense. This allowed him to have over 1 steal and 2 assists per game in his recently completed Senior year. He shoots 77% of free throws. Thanks to his robust physique even when rebounding (3.5) he can hold his own, especially against players of the same role who often weigh a few kg less. He could be the ideal player to use as a break player from the bench as coach Abdur Rahim used him. At international level he already has several appearances with the national team both at youth and senior level. Selton Miguel will certainly be an Angolan staple for years to come.
