INTRODUCTION
Justin Harmon began his collegiate path at the JuCo level before transferring to Utah Valley, where he played alongside Trey Woodbury under coach Mark Madsen. The Wolverines won the WAC regular season and reached the semifinals of both the Conference Tournament and the NIT. For his final NCAA season, Harmon transferred to Illinois, where he was expected to provide depth and production off the bench.
Justin Harmon is a combo guard with good size and solid athleticism. His speed allows him to attack the rim effectively and operate as a slasher in transition and half-court situations. His perimeter shooting has shown gradual improvement, reaching 34% from 3-P on 2.9 attempts per game after a 29.7% season previously. In pick-and-roll situations he can create for teammates (2.9 assists per game), though decision-making remains a work in progress, reflected by around 3 turnovers per game.
Defensively, his wingspan and reactivity make him active in passing lanes (1.2 steals per game). However, limited physical strength can expose him in mismatch situations.
Overall, Justin Harmon profiles as an athletic guard with slashing ability and developing playmaking skills. He projects as a viable option for mid-level European leagues, particularly in systems that value pace and defensive activity.
