INTRODUCTION
Jameer Nelson Jr. is a good point guard with excellent skills in stealing the ball, a decent shooter even if perhaps undersized to play as a guard. He closed the 23/24 season with 11 points in 25 minutes of average use with decent shooting percentages. For his size it would be right to focus on perfecting a 3-point shot. Skill that disappointed expectations after his junior year at Delaware where he had exceeded 36%. When he is on the court thanks to his agility he is very often able to anticipate the opponent and steal more than 2 balls per game. All in all on the offensive part he plays quite well even if sometimes he tends to block in some situations where he could make a different choice. To be able to play as a shooting guard he is perhaps a little undersized. He should undoubtedly improve his passing skills to specialize in the role of point guard. At times he tends to be absent from the match but remains a factor in the attack. At the end of the season Jameer Nelson Jr. was included in the All-Big 12 Honorable Mention list.
