INTRODUCTION

Kadary Richmond is an all-around player in his fourth college season. After a freshman season at Syracuse, where he started in the lineup only 3 times, he decided to transfer to Seton Hall, where especially in the last season he showed all his talent.
Restricting him to just one role is limiting; he can play at various moments in the game from 1 to 3. He is an all-around player who can contribute across all statistical categories: 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.1 assists, along with 2.2 steals and 0.6 blocks.
Considering his height and position, he is an exceptional rebounder, a skill that is improving year by year, and a good shot blocker. He can do it all on the basketball court.
Offensively, the most evident deficiency he showed this season was his three-point shooting (27%), although last year he shot 44.4% on 1.3 attempts per game – undoubtedly an area where he can improve. He is a player who takes risks for the winning play, consequently turning the ball over often, but he remains a high-level playmaker, in addition to having good technique and ball-handling.
Defensively, there’s nothing to criticize; he is a physical and athletic player who can guard any opponent, as evidenced by his 2.2 steals per game. Defense is one of his strengths.
He was named to the 2024 First-team All-Big East and graduated as an NIT champion. He could prove to be a top-level player for Europe, provided there are no issues with adapting to European basketball (for example, attention to the first step).
