INTRODUCTION

Jermaine Marshall is a forward who can play both the 3 and 4 positions from Samford. He began his collegiate career at Akron, where he had a marginal role, finishing with an average of 2.5 points. He then transferred for his final 3 college years to Samford, where he played a starring role, finishing with averages of 13.0, 13.3, and 10.6 points.

Jermaine Marshall is an impact player, who I personally prefer coming off the bench (he still started 17 out of 22 games). He is capable of generating points in a few minutes (10.6 points in 18.4 minutes in his last season) and giving the team an energy boost. He has a good three-point shot (34.7% on 3.4 attempts), especially if he can get into a rhythm. He is also an excellent rebounder (5.1, including 1.6 offensive) for the minutes he plays. Offensively, he can also play with his back to the basket in the post.
Defensively, however, he is a bit cumbersome, especially in lateral movements, where he shows limited mobility. Nevertheless, he is a good stealer (1.3 per game).
