INTRODUCTION
Jesse Edwards is a rangy center with great verticality and a solid rim protector in the center of defense. An atypical big man for modern basketball, unfortunately he has not developed a medium and long distance shot and even at free throws he shows some difficulties with a decent 61% in his career. He perhaps suffers too much from some players of the same role who have a greater foot speed, this could limit him in some game contexts. Jesse Edwards is a player who shows his skills in the area, excellent positional sense and an almost perfect pick and roll player. Inside the area he is an excellent finisher in the post, in defense he is present under the rim with an average of over 8 rebounds per game and almost 2 blocks. With his long arms he can continuously close the view of the basket and is a decisive factor when he is on the court. In the 22/23 season he was selected in the ACC All-Defensive Team. He played a good PIT, finishing the event averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds. He also made international appearances with the Dutch national team.
