INTRODUCTION

Josh Oduro is an undersized center with good post mobility, a good free throw hand and good sense of position. He raised the level of his game by moving from George Mason to Providence in a much more competitive conference like the Big East. The results were more than positive with numbers increasing or remaining at the already excellent levels shown in the previous season. He has good body control in post movements although his agility is certainly not his strong point. Sometimes he tends to settle for close shots and if he could improve his elevation he could also become a much more credible rim defender than he is now. Under the rim he stands out with 7.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks. He has good court vision and also has excellent playmaking skills. Although he has achieved an excellent 82% on free throws, he is still unable to consistently play medium and long range shots. He shoots 3-pointers at a decent 29%. Josh Oduro played the PIT, averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds in the three games.
