INTRODUCTION

Elias King found his most consistent role in his fifth collegiate season at Middle Tennessee. He profiles as a small forward with good mobility and enough versatility to contribute on both ends of the floor. He covers the court well, provides steady energy, and added 4.5 rebounds per game, giving his team a useful presence on the glass.

Elias King is heavily oriented toward perimeter play. More than half of his field-goal attempts come from beyond the 3-P line. He showed real shooting potential in the 2022–23 season, when he converted 40% from three, but in 2023–24 his volume increased to more than six attempts per game while his efficiency dropped to just above 33%. His offensive development will depend on improving consistency and becoming more selective in how he uses that shooting threat. He is not a primary creator and does not naturally organize the offense, functioning better as a complementary scorer than as a playmaker.

Athletically, King has good tools and can take advantage of physical mismatches, especially against smaller defenders. That can be useful in contact situations near the rim or when attacking from the post. Defensively, his size and movement give him flexibility, although his overall impact is tied more to effort and physical profile than to playmaking instincts.

Overall, Elias King projects as a complementary wing with athletic tools, rebounding support, and perimeter shooting upside. His value at the professional level will depend on whether he can stabilize his 3-P efficiency and turn his physical advantages into more consistent two-way production.
