INTRODUCTION

Cliff Omoruyi is an old style center, he has a very internal game and excellent verticality to attack and defend the rim. He is a solid player physically and doesn’t hesitate to show it off even in the game. He has a very internal game close to the rim and often ends the action with a dunk. Thanks to his excellent verticality and timing he is able to easily block several opposing shots with almost 3 blocks on average. Excellent pick and roll player. 50% shooting for a player of this type can undoubtedly be improved and he has shown that he can do much better. The free throw shots can also undoubtedly be improved where with a decent 60% it is not yet considered a factor in the game. He has a one-dimensional game and this could also limit him in some phases of the game if put in more technical and less physical contexts.

He absolutely must improve and expand his offensive repertoire and above all build a shot that can be defined as such. In the 2023 and 2024 seasons Cliff Omoruyi was selected to the Big Ten defensive team.
