INTRODUCTION: Ebby Asamoah is a forward in his final college season. After 4 interim seasons at Delaware (senior season with 6.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 24.1 minutes), he transferred to the East Tennessee State Buccaneers (ETSU), where he finally became an undisputed protagonist, averaging 15.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 30.6 minutes.

His main characteristic is undoubtedly being a good scorer. His shooting percentages are not excellent (40.3% from the field on 12.8 attempts with 36.3% from 3pt), mainly due to the large volume of shots and offensive responsibilities. Out of the 12.8 attempts per game, 8.3 are from three-point range, indicating his preference for arc-play. His main skill is certainly the jump shot, able to shoot over opponents thanks to an exceptional elevation.
However, his shot-making ability is coupled with gap in playmaking. In his college experience, he has never averaged more than 0.8 assists: little for a player with so many offensive responsibilities and the ball in his hands. His tendency toward individual scoring rather than facilitating leads him to relatively few turnovers (1.6 per game).

Defensively, he is a good player, demonstrating not only athleticism and physicality but also determination and grit (0.7 steals per game).

His last college season was his first with significant responsibilities and where he showcased his abilities. He can be a good player if you’re looking for a solid scorer.
