INTRODUCTION: Jayden Stone is a very good offensive player. He is skilled at finishing at the rim with excellent 3-point shooting potential. Unfortunately the context did not help him to fully develop his potential. Detroit-Mercy is one of the teams with the worst record in Division I, but the technical skills are clearly visible on the court. His attack is very focused on attacks at the rim and he often completes three-point plays thanks to an excellent 80% free throw percentage. In the 22-23 season he shot 50% from three-point range and improved steadily throughout his college years. Unfortunately in his senior season his percentage dropped to a normal 31% but on almost 8 shots per game. Precisely in this aspect he has improved a lot in catch and shot, especially in corner positions. He has managed a considerable number of possessions during the season and often tends to be individualistic. Assists (2.65) and turnovers (2.54) are definitely two weak points in his game. Inserted in a context with fewer offensive responsibilities, Jayden Stone could perform best especially as a three-point shooter.
