INTRODUCTION
Fardaws Aimaq is one of the best pure rebounders in the NCAA, in 2021 he was 1st in the rankings in Division I. In his sixth year of eligibility he has changed 4 teams. Has always moved up the ranks and his skill hasn’t suffered as a result. He is the point of reference inside the area both in attack and defense. Fardaws Aimaq is equally skilled both in recovering rebounds in his own area (7.7) and in attack (3.6). With his size he is a little slow in his movements on the court but thanks to his ability to position himself well he limits this defect. Although he plays very often near the basket he does not excel in shooting percentage as should be expected from this type of player (47%). Over the years he has also tried to develop a light 3-point shot but at present he cannot consider it an integral part of his offensive repertoire yet with 33% on 45 shots. Fardaws Aimaq in the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons won the WAC’s DPOY award. In the 20-21 season he also won the POY.
