INTRODUCTION
Cam Hamilton in his NCAA career played at UNC-Pembroke and Valdosta State scoring over 1500 points in Division II. Named to the Second Team of the Gulf South Conference alongside his teammate JaColbey Owens. He holds the all-time steals record with the Blazers. In his first year as a pro, he played in Albania and reached the playoffs with Apolonia.
Cam Hamilton is a small-sized point guard with great ball handling abilities, which, combined with his speed, allow him to create space for a shot or an advantage to find a teammate in a better position (5.2 assists on average). He is a solid three-point shooter (37.9% on 6.9 attempts, in line with his performance in the NCAA), but he has room to improve in shot selection. Defensively, he may struggle due to his size and lack of strength in mismatch situations, but his speed in covering passing lanes and ability to disrupt opponents’ dribbling make him a high-energy player (3.3 steals per game). He is certainly an impactful player in many mid-level European leagues.
